Temporal protection:
The VORONOÏ is the first equestrian helmet equipped with temporal protection (removable option), reducing the risk of concussion in the most fragile area of the skull.
Safety first.
Our ambition to develop the first equestrian helmet offering enhanced protection of the temporal area stems from a clear observation: every year in France, over 150,000 head injuries require emergency care, around a quarter of which are caused by sports or leisure accidents. These injuries are due to the fragility of the brain and the thinness of the skull. The temporal area accounts for 80% of serious brain injuries.
Temporal protection reduces the risk of concussion in the most vulnerable part of the skull: the temporal zone. Behind the temporal bone lies the middle meningeal artery. Even a minor impact can damage this artery, causing a hematoma that compresses brain cells, potentially leading to severe injury or even death.
The VORONOÏ helmet is the only one that takes the temporal area into account, absorbing and distributing impact forces over a larger surface to significantly reduce risks.
Tested in accordance with the work of WG11 (Working Group 11), protection against rotational impact is fully ensured without additional systems, whose alleged benefits have never been proven by independent laboratories such as Virginia Tech Lab.
Safety, comfort and lightness.
The internal shell of the VORONOÏ is made from one of the most shock-absorbing EPS foams on the market. An integrated rib (between the upper part of the shell and the lower temporal area) reinforces the structure and provides crush resistance well above regulatory standards.
FREEJUMP drew inspiration from bicycle and ski helmet technologies by integrating a polycarbonate sheet directly over the EPS. This In-molding technology, combined with the high-quality ABS thermoplastic outer shell, delivers exceptional impact resistance through a three-layer construction.
The inner lining is made from high-quality Italian fabric to maximize comfort, breathability and head support. It is removable and washable (30°C wash, air dry) to ensure hygiene and long-lasting comfort.

Design and ventilation.
Inspired by the distinctive geometric pattern that gave the helmet its name, the two air vents (front and rear on the outer shell) are designed to optimize airflow and provide outstanding thermal regulation.
The Voronoï pattern, composed of irregular geometric cells, creates a unique and striking aesthetic reminiscent of dragonfly wings. Each cell is carefully positioned to maximize strength and airflow through the helmet, optimizing safety, ventilation and breathability.
The internal shell of the VORONOÏ includes 20 ventilation channels to maximize airflow.
The inner lining features an ABS half-moon insert at the front (clipped onto the inner shell edge), with two openings that guide airflow into the helmet.
Customization, style and size range.
The VORONOÏ is available with or without temporal protection, which is removable and reattachable. Choosing the full configuration (with temporal protection) is recommended for safety reasons and to allow connection with the FREEJUMP INTERCOM by Cardo. The temporal protection can also be added later.
